this 2 images where made to show the architectural design of a library in Montevideo, Uruguay. I made this by using autocad, 3dMax and Corona render. the whole idea was to keep it simple and focus on space and shapes.
basically the 3d model was provided by them. The 3d model was made on auto cad 3d with a lot of detail, so i could just dedicate myself to texturize, illuminate and think in cool ways to show the great design.
.. going to the video store, ordering some pizzas and playing video games? Take turns all night on games like Super Mario World or fight each other in games like Street Fighter 2 and -over the top brutal- Mortal Kombat? I wanted to pick up on that mood and created this little Super Nintendo Throwback scene.
Away from the original commissioned work we were focusing in on facade details and it’s reaction and characteristics when set in different lighting environments.
This project represents modern flower-beds (planters), which can be used for both flowers and plants (vegetables). Their modern and unique design changes the idea of the flower-beds. Boxes can stand on each other and create high-level flower-beds. Also, the planters can be illuminated with additional light.
Our task was to show a good combination of one-level flower-beds and modern architecture. Enjoy watching.
