We waited almost a year but finally, we can share with you a new personal project inspired by NYC.
An individualist, loft-like office space created in some old refurbished building. The idea was to create a creative space, finished in high-end materials, with many astonishing art pieces and the soul of the iconic city enchanted within it.
We are very proud of the outcome and eager to see your reaction!
Two 21-storey towers are combined together with stylobate on four levels of which a retail space is arranged. Panoramic windows with stunning views over the historical city center are included in the project.
The image emphasizes that, using large inlets for air and light and enabling panoramic views, Chkalov makes a versatile living space and definitely adds a new dimension to the city skyline.

The modern interior is based on the classic principles of building space. It is a striking example of the style inspired by organic architecture.
The structure of the house consists of two horizontal architectural volumes located parallel to each other and the third volume, which is deployed perpendicular to them. The design choice was made in favor of a monochrome color scheme of simple geometric shapes and natural materials.
Each room offers views of the azure coast of the ocean. Moreover, we can enjoy the panorama of the beach from the window of the house in the mirrored furniture, as it is in the example of the image with the bathroom. When the sunlight hits the space, it becomes voluminous creating a play of light and shadow. The panoramic windows allow to represent the interior of the villa clearly visible on the exterior plans in the most flattering way. This openness of the building, both inside and outside, makes the villa an almost airy space.

The project is designed and built by Mexican firm Co-Lab Design Office. Casa Aviv is located a short distance from the Caribbean coastline, aptly tucked in the greens of Tulum. The core concept of the projects is to merge indoors and outdoors into one generous, peaceful space. The mood palette composed of greys and burnt browns as well as the blue crystalline swimming pool resembles much to the famed cenotes located nearby.
This rental holiday home marries clean structure and beautiful handcrafted finishings. This juxtaposition of clean lines and ‘imperfections’ amused me to these renders- especially for honing my interiors.
