There is a very real tunnel that starts under the west end of the 6th Street Bridge
(near Santa Fe Avenue), and which runs east to its opposite end, an opening
on the west wall of the L.A. River, beneath the 6th Street Bridge.
In the render above, the camera is looking west/northwest,
towards the river-end mouth of the tunnel.
The 3D modeling and texturing was done using 3dsmax software and all the graffiti were added in post production process using Photoshop CC.
Using Vray frame render, i added some Lens effect to give my render an apocalyptic mood.
Kyle Jones, of Pixel Wave, takes us through his process with Substance Designer and Substance Painter and shows us how to leverage these amazing tools in ArchViz with achieving photo-realistic materials as the focus. Enjoy!
Here is an image I did a couple of days ago. Inspiration came mainly from the Netflix Dark series as well as some Crewdson photographs I’m interested in.
Fog was done in postproduction and the image was actually mostly about playing around with multiple z-depth pass to achieve a convincing effect.
Playing with the density also enabled me to do different color toning tests (from warm orange to cold blue/green tones basically) and end up with interesting moods I’ll certainly reuse in my next projects.
Center of plants conservation Proposal done for xiao lo , designed and visualized by RAY Designs – HISHAM BAHAA ELDIN, the project is located over the pearl river , hong kong , design concept is derived from the greenhouse in a modern way, we tried to visualize the atmosphere of the area with the foggy mountains trees leading to the tian tan buddah . The focus on the building was quiet simple by letting the environment dominate the scene.
render time was quiet high for this image around 8 hrs on 10 render nodes
