During this project it was very helpful to revise carefully the tropical context of the Philippines, and particularly of this location, where sugar cane fields are abundant and there is some specific vegetation like palm trees.
The goal of this project was to make images of impact in a short amount of time. Studying references that would give us an idea of the kind of lighting we could use was vital, thanks to this we could overcome this stage to have the desired final result.
I did this project as a gift for my father in law. It’s the first time I’ve played with painting in fog.
The client needed to modernize their commercial space in a shopping district with heavy foot traffic. The design included an overhaul of the exterior facade and an open corridor to enter the retail areas.
It is a building complex including commercial, hotel and office, which is located in Fukuoka, Japan. In the renders, the rainy athmosphere with the fog and the warm interior lights are complimenting the design and the facade.
