Out with the old and in with the new! In Converted, I’m asking you to take an in-depth look at existing architecture near you or one you love worldwide and introduce something new.
Today at the SIGGRAPH Conference, Epic Games revealed advancements in real-time CG production workflows. New developments included a technology preview of Datasmith, a workflow toolkit to simplify moving data into Unreal Engine for architectural and design visualizations.
We are pleased to announce our first official walkthrough demo done with Unreal Engine 4! Walkthrough is done for PC and all still shots and animations were done in Unreal engine.
The purpose of this was to learn and experiment with Unreal engine 4 for archviz. Textures were mostly handpainted with photo textures used as well for this piece. All models were made using Blender and rendered images and animation were from the Unreal Engine viewport. I also modeled, rigged and animated the butterflies in the scene.
I’m working on a unreal engine 4 archviz experiment, this is my very first one and still needs to do some tweaking and adjustments. I used to call it as “beta 2” but now you can take a look on what i’m trying to achieve.
Right now i have almost everything done and this is very close from the final version, but i receive some feedback and start working on a update to make the light on living room feel more natural and lamps less agressive on floor.
I think the new version will be finished on next week or so, because i’m under a chaotic move to a new apartment.

This project was done by our team NutsNuts. It took us 4 full-time working weeks of 4 people to make this interior from the begging. Modeling, texturing, rendering, video editing are done by our team. The main goal that we achieved is that we get very realistic quality while using low-poly models
It won’t be polite if we didn’t introduce our self first. PRIM3D is Skopje (Macedonia) based design and production studio formed in 2016 by 3D artists and architects.
LET THEM series
The series “LET THEM’ is our campaign for reaching to potential clients. Through the series we show how can virtual reality open new possibilities to real estate.
Every project that is part of the campaign is available on multiple platforms including VR (Oculus and HTC Vive).
Giving the customers opportunity to customize the space will make them more confident in their decision of purchasing their new real estate.
Düsseldorf
This project is representing office space giving opportunity to change the mood of the scene with different colors and materials for the walls, floor, furniture and interactive lights. Navigation through the scene can be done with walking or drone mode.
You can check other interactive elements in the walkthrough of this project.
The workflow starts with an architectural floor plan that is later imported and processed in a 3D software. After all the initial preparations are finished and all the required assets are made the project is transferred to Unreal Engine.
The pictures shown below are edited in Photoshop to display the interactions that can be made in the scene.
