Its been 6 months since I started to work with 3d modeling and visualization. To start with it was confusing because, there were a lot of options infront of me to choose as a software. It was difficult to stick with one in the beginning. as a beginner I started with sketchup which was a software which is understimated by most of them out there, like David Santos said.
Without a mentor working with vray was a bit tricky to learn, because of the bugs and errors. Half of the time went to figure out what went wrong and figuring out issues.
Yes experience is the best teacher. Later i found out a more organized way of working with both sketchup and vray. Still the problems didn’t go away but its a lot better. Thanks to the all the developers out there, there were a lot of amazing plugins which helped me to do this like artisan sculpt brush, skatter…etc
Since i am an architecture student others think that i wont be able to focus on architecture and designing if i spend so much time in learning these 3d visualization.I dont know about that ,any way when i did the first, seccond and the third one i tried to make each of them better than the previous one. I dont know how to evaluate where i am now but i am Happy.

Rare Air

I’m always trying new techniques in an attempt to push my abilities and renderings to the next level. This image was inspired by a book I received about Japanese dwellings. In the book there is a photograph of a living space looking out into a deeply forested environment which I found evocative.

My model seemed claustrophobic upon review so I decided to open up the view to the most dramatic expanse I could imagine and change it to an expansive shot of a high mountain lake.

I am also working on incorporating models of real-world items captured by photogrammetry and inserting them into my scenes in order to add that extra element of realism that pulls in the viewer’s interest.

I have found that using the native color settings in Lumion brings a vibrance to the final image that while beautiful, is a bit saturated for most scenes. Luckily the ability to manage this is handled well within Lumion with the use of some of the built-in effects.

This image represents an ideal environment for me personally and I hope to provide through my work the kind of life that could provide a view like this for my daughter and wife to gaze upon like the fearless young lady in the image.

Plaza St. Thomas

This is a concept render for a proposed project for special needs residents in Texas.
The goal is to have a community where developmentally challenged adults can live with as much independence as possible on a property that combines individual living quarters, a common house and a coffee shop for the residents to have nearby employment.

The idea behind the design is to reference the traditional Mexican Hacienda design, which often took the form of a U-Shaped building with an enclosed courtyard and garden.

Since this project will be funded by donations, these images were produced to present to potential donors so that the project could go from dream to reality.

Obelisk

The main purpose of this work is to create a dramatic atmosphere with a majestic monument placed in the middle of the ocean.
Sketchup and Lumion softwares are used in rendering and modelling processes. Most of the work seen in the final image done via photoshop.
To emphasize this dramatic, glorious scene, I also made a motion still image using Adobe Premiere.
