A small kitchen scene that was created to try out and test some soft lighting and warm tones. Based on a design in Australia there are cabinets using Benjamin Moore’s Black Berry colour and Caesarstone Statuario Maximus benchtop.

The Better Days – A short visual story

“The Better Days” is a heartwarming, slice of life, architecture story set inside an apartment of one of the most iconic buildings of the 20th century.

After a heartbreaking divorce, William relocates to the south of France, where he begins to pen his latest novel. As he struggles to come up with ideas, he brings his young son with him for a few summer days to keep him company.

The short features a faithful and detailed digital recreation of the interior of Unite D’habitation, designed by famous 20th century architect Le Corbusier and located in Marseilles, France.

B&TB Image of The Month for January : This image represents a milestone for us. We recently took the initiative of crafting one special image per month.

Requirements?

It has to be something not commissioned and inspirational for us. These images are made for the simple pleasure of doing something on our own that let us experiment, explore new paths in whichever the topic is and definitely grow.

It is really hard to accomplish since there is an art direction behind it that sometimes is not fully compatible with our “ever busy” schedule. Nevertheless we remain committed to serve you our monthly dose of Beauties.

Mr or Miss January (as you wish) is called The Fall. We really hope you like this initiative we put so many high hopes in.
