International Music Centre / Zelazowa Wola, Poland

Exteriors were some of the last images done on my old workstation, whereas interiors were done on new PC and 3dsmax version. The lecture room in particular was my first render done in V-ray Next and I’m especially proud of it even if it’s not the main image. I was pretty happy with all the results to be honest especially considering extremely tight deadlines (as it is when it comes to competitions). Filling the concert hall with 2d people was a bit tedious, but the result was worth it afterall. It was also a nice chance to work on a project that is to be located a place I know and like since schooltrip in 1st grade which was quite a while ago… 🙂

The project passed through the first stage of the competition in the spring, and received official commendation at the conclusion of the contest in June.
The Building adheres to the existing parts of the park/monument and it’s modern architecture. Architects from HRA also used raw wood shingles – local and typicaly rustic material

Modern Villa

Typology: House
Location: USA
Status: on going
Visualization: Omega Render
Schedule of visualization: 1,5 weeks

The visualisation of the modern villa with a magnificent terrace is our next work. Simple architectural forms stand out against the backdrop of the bright greenery of the courtyard and the rich nature of the surroundings. Our idea was to emphasise the atmosphere of this isolated and cozy place due to the different lighting.

MAXIME residence

Time to time I need to have rest from the commercial project and it is a joy for me to make something like this. In this kind of personal project, I choose some interesting photo of architecture and try to recreate it. This time it was impressive work of b l a n k s t u d i o in Thailand. The house is situated in the flower yard and I appreciate the connection between the outside environment and inside of the house. Fascinating for me it was the shape and the use of materials like glass, concrete and stone walls. Lighting this scene was important and I tried to not only recreate evening feel, but I also created a few day shots.

Morris House

“A story in six shots” is back. This time “Morris House”; an unbuilt masterpiece designed by Frank Lloyd Wright for VC Morris at the 830 El Camino del Mar, San Francisco. As the Ennis House which appears in “Blade Runner”, this house could have been a nice location for a film. I tried to blend Architectural Visualization and Concept Art to create this gangster story in just 6 visuals + a cover.

This time I wanted to do something different for the set of images. As the the time I can dedicate to personal projects is really short, I wanted to make something rough and sketchy. I decided to put some basic materials for the house and focus on light, mood and storytelling. For that I used photobahsing painting as the main technique, which let me keep an average of 5 hours per image and getting a more abstract style.

Hope you like them!
