Cathedral of Freedom / Hommage to Joze Plecnik

CATHEDRAL OF FREEDOM / Hommage to Joze Plecnik is an experimental short film dedicated to Slovene architect Joze Plecnik.

Cathedral of Freedom / Plecnik Parliament (Slovene: Plecnikov parlament) is the colloquial name of two designs for a building intended to house the legislature of the People’s Republic of Slovenia within the second Yugoslavia. Formally known as the Slovene Acropolis and the Cathedral of Freedom (Slovenska akropola / Katedrala svobode), the two designs were proposed in 1947 by Slovenia’s most eminent architect, Joze Plečnik, but were rejected in favour of a more conventional design.

A square, colonnaded false façade would have surrounded the cylindrical main building of two stories, surmounted by a tall, spirally tapering conical cupola. Supported internally by inclined columns, the cupola would have spanned the parliament chamber. The facade would have measured 50 m in length, the tower rising to 120 m. Several slightly varying designs were produced, some including a second colonnade wrapping the second floor of the main building, different porticoes, or an asymmetrical ground floor.

Essex Modern City

Essex Modern City strives to set a new standard for mixed-use development in San Antonio, reinventing urban infill development, by referencing the historical patterns of San Antonio as a Spanish colonial city based on while embracing new technology’s impact on the urban environment. It returns the focus to the people, both those who live there and visit, by making it a walkable community with vehicular access limited to emergency and service access. The large central plaza and extensive green space throughout provides a venue for events and exhibits for residents and visitors. Vertical and horizontal urban farms will grow produce to be utilized by restaurants on the property, purchased by residents/visitors, or marketed as a revenue source to those managing it. A market will provide a venue for local food vendors and craftsmen to market and sell their goods. Local arts and entertainment will be celebrated throughout the Essex Modern City development.

The “HKANGAI” Mansion

Our project is located in Ulan Bator, Mongolia. As we see the architecture as a living being, corresponding to three important periods of a creature, the whole design concept of this short film can be separated into three sections.
The first section shows the birth of this building, like a butterfly getting out of its shell under the rising sun. Then in the second section, the building shines against the skyline of Ulan Bator, showing its beauty and vitality. After its birth and shining, in the last section, we created a dream for the building, letting it relax, sleep, and waiting for its next revival.

Statek

The idea was to take the concept of an old barn and wrap it in a newer garment using modern features such as fired bricks, large glazed windows, etc. The object that is situated between the trees is surrounded by a field and wild nature, yet it joins everything needed for a modern way of living.

House on a rock

Hello!
It is a great honor for me to present to you the recent work that I did. Today I’m sharing with the whole “House on the Rock” in this blog.
I hope you like it!
I tried to create emotional photos and photorealistic ArchViz, using the knowledge and experience that I received earlier.
This work was created for itself as inspiration of imagination and full freedom of thought.
3D modeling
My first step is modeling the main house in Sketchup, which is an excellent and simple tool for modeling the basic 3D architectural models, and I often feel comfortable when I use it at this stage.
Then I used a lumine for rocks and water, as well as atmospheric weather.
I fully applied the textures and materials for Sketchup. I just installed them in the loumion.
In my opinion, it was a bit difficult, it was to create a suitable place in the mountains in Loomion.
Then I get the final rendering photos, as you can see. Then I just used a small Photoshop for lighting and color sorting.
Thank you so much for taking the time to create me! I hope that my experience will help you in your work.

Special thanks to Ronen Bekerman for giving us the opportunity to share our work with all of you.

Rustic kitchen

A fun personal project inspired by the awesome deVOL Kitchens. Went for a warm rustic/farmhouse feel. Some models from the 3D Warehouse, the cabinet is modelled by me. All textures and lighting achieved in Lumion 8.0, which I’m testing now. It has a lot of potential!
