ZA_Beta is an in-house passion project with the aim of elevating our knowledge and skill in Corona renderer and Interior Design.
This is one of our first set of a project that we’ve done in Corona. We focused particularly on the technical execution of design, lighting and materials. We’ve learned the power of Corona’s real-time light mix and how its progressive image development redefines the way we look at architectural Visualisation.
Any feedback or tips is encouraged, outside perspective will help us push our quality of work within the industry
Hi. I’d like to share with you my personal project i’ve been doing from some time.
It is a short CG archviz animation based on 6Th Ave in New York, near 1221 Avenues of the Americas building. Animation done completely by me. All scenes modeled in 3ds max and rendered with Vray Next. Compositing and post-production done in Blackmagic Fusion Studio 9 and editing in DaVinci Resolve 14.
During creation this animation i was using Poliigon textures, which are really fantastic and high quality. I also used GrowFX for trees.
…just a little something we’ve done for our clients. There’s an animated version over on Instagram for those who like flashing lights! @angles_of_incidence
Merry Christmas everyone!
Set of images exploring the conversion of a Victorian mill’s loft space. The key factor here was to make sure the contemporary interior design didn’t take too much away from the refurbished elements of the original mill.
Melbourne’s most acclaimed architects (Bates Smart) have designed this multi residential – mixed use building to maximize views to the river and create residencies where urban life seamlessly connects with nature.
It was important for our studio to set the right tone and composition for each shot to help compliment the design language. One of the major elements in the design is how the large terraces cascade down the northern elevation and almost merge into the contours of the river bank.
Technically it was very hard to capture certain angles due to ongoing neighboring construction, so the decision was made early on to go full 3D for the majority of the shots.
The largest challenge was file management, with some scenes ending up over 7 gig even though the building was modeled procedurally with rail-clone and all interior assets (furniture/curtains/plants) were scattered with Forest pack. We probably did go OTT by scattering debris and gravel on the roads surfaces, especially from the distance the cameras were positioned. As they say…The devil is in the detail.
A small animation is in production and will be released next year.
