Church Street CGI Film

The project consists of a set of still images and a CGI film. If you are interested in still images you can see them here: https://www.behance.net/gallery/73158193/Church-Street-CGI-Film
This project started off as a commercial work which we liked a lot, and animations are something we haven’t done much in the past but wanted to try, so… here we are now 🙂
The track was custom made for this project to set the tone in which we wanted to portray the architecture. The original building was altered more or less while working on the animation timeline. The interior suffered most of the changes, but the exterior was heavily changed as well.
Having full creative freedom on this personal project made all the extra hours we put into it worth it.
Hope you’ll enjoy watching it as much as we did making it!

BIGyard

Spare time personal project based on zanderroth architekten’s project named BIGyard.
I’ve just imagined a different context and I had fun playing with 2 different moods and lighting setups. Most enjoyable part has been painting the road texture, blending several textures with custom brushes, in a single huge 60k texture with all the correspondent maps.
It’s also the first project done with Corona 3.0 and I have to say the displacement has been improved quite a bit.

Recreation of Frank Lloyd Wright unbuilt projects

I have been collaborating with the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation in the recreation of the Gordon Strong Automobile Objective.

This work can be seen in the upcoming issue of the Frank Lloyd Wright Quarterly magazine. The magazine focuses on the design for Gordon Strong but includes views of three other works strongly related to the automobile: Butterfly Wing Bridge, Valley National Bank, and Roy Wetmore Car Repair and Showroom, all of them spectacular designs but, for different reasons never came to be built.
