VILLA NOVA
Architecture & Interior Design: Atelier Estimo
Location: Zurich, Switzerland
Render: NIKO visual – www.nikovisual.com

We were very pleased to work on this project for architects Atelier Estimo.
The dream house is located on a beautiful southern slope overlooking Zurich.
The functional and exquisite design is perfectly combined with clear lines of the facade.
The harmony of natural materials of wood, concrete and stone creates an atmosphere of comfort and coziness.
…just a little something we’ve done for our clients. There’s an animated version over on Instagram for those who like flashing lights! @angles_of_incidence
Merry Christmas everyone!
Set of images exploring the conversion of a Victorian mill’s loft space. The key factor here was to make sure the contemporary interior design didn’t take too much away from the refurbished elements of the original mill.
As an Architect, designer and visualiser, I am attracted to spaces that oozes personality. I wanted to create a space that reflects my attraction to modern living spaces in growing Cities. This visualisation is just a simple room, with typical Revit window families and 3D models downloaded from Cadnav, but it explores what a designer can do with a simple thought and a few precedent images.
The Floorboards are generated with FloorGenerator, very simple box modelling and chamfering, Revit windows, and models downloaded from Cadnav for personal use. Workflow consisted of Revit – 3DS Max – Vray – and a subtle touch in photoshop.
Thanks!
After seeing a similar project on ArchDaily, I wanted to recreate the interiors (with exteriors to follow) of this beautiful space. All images are 99% directly from the rendered, with some minor colour adjustments using the Nik Collection of tools.
