Villa Savoy

Personal black and white interpratation of Villa Savoye, a famous architecture from the swiss architect Le Corbusier. The choice of the point of view is based on the architecture itself principles, of course the most important are simplicity and the gap between the structure and the natural environment.

Black and white is also a choice for enfatize the light and syntetize the shape of the building.

FOR LOVE OF FILM

Nothing beats the old fashioned classical posters, no one does them as they used to, they had a charm that no new poster have.
Around those artworks we built our images.
hope you like them as much as we did.

Howe Farm

Diving into the photographic analysis of a built project made us to really appreciate its essence, especially when we have photographs that portray the subject through time, as environmental conditions change.
For me this is a continuous way of observing reality.
The idea of recreating this specific environment comes from the desire to deepen the lighting process and the creation of materials of wooden surfaces. I appreciated the details of this project realized by IPT Architects and found the building very inspiring so I considered it as a very good reference to this purpose.
Starting by imagine it placed in a different natural contest and in different lighting conditions, I used the real materials, making some color/reflection variations to play with mood.
The tools used are Floor Generator for the Wood planks, and Forest Pack for the vegetation. The furnitures are a mix of custom made and commercial models.

“The Discovery”

As the main theme was “the perfect getaway”, I thought of creating the story of this adventurer that, after getting inside a very dark cabe, founds a little piece of paradise on earth.
