Goat Farm Art Center

We love the surreal and the odd, so it shouldn’t be a surprise that we really enjoyed creating the Goat Farm Arts Center Project’s visualizations.
This former industrial area is occupied by art galleries, creative companies and bars and soon will be renovated with the involvement of the current tenants. Smith Dalia Architects commissioned us to create inspiring, surrealist visions of the future of this wonderful, creative location.

Museo De Sito Julio C. Tello

Red pigmented concrete provides the geometric forms of this archaeology museum in Peru, designed by Barclay & Crousse to replace another destroyed during an earthquake.

The Museo de Sitio Julio C Tello stands at the entrance to the Paracas National Reserve, on exactly the same site as its predecessor, which was ruined during an earthquake in 2007.

LOBBY BAR BCN

The project was developed for the ground floor of a hotel located in one of the Barcelona districts. The hotel area is surrounded by plants and has its own garden, which creates a cozy and tropical atmosphere.

The interior consists of modern and classical elements of furniture and decor made of very simple materials such as concrete, wood and various metals. Space is multifunctional as it provides either area for work or a relax.

So, there are no secrets here:

  • Quality HDRI
  • Tasty tone mapping
  • Custom LUTS
  • Shading

Interior style and accurate vision of the atmosphere, which is the most important aspect of any project in my opinion.

“The Hook”/Render by photo reference

This work was done for the first time on this render system. I tried to make the main angle the most expressive and vivid.I wanted to fully convey the texture of the fabrics and make the colors look like a sample. After the main angle I wanted to try to render a small animation and add a few close up

TORC

The One Rendering Challenge submission
For this challenge, I experimented with a few different characters, compositions and atmospheres whilst designing the form of the building.
I wanted to develop the architecture secondary to the stories that may occur in an everyday environment.
This made me realize there are too many important stories that happen everyday. I did not want to choose one specific story.

Therefore my moment is a young man receiving a phone call; the call could be from anyone – about anything; it could be sad news or it could be joyous. This phone call was important enough for this person to leave the function he was attending.

The message is life happens.
Appreciate what you have – you only get to do it once.

Urban barn house

Like a peaceful, calm oasis, sits this old beautiful barn house in the middle of a new modern urban block in Utrecht, Netherlands. It has served many purposes during its long existence. But now is the time to rise once again and bring the citizens of Utrecht a new urban space with great opportunities of use. Including a kindergarten, park with playground, restaurant or urban living…

I had the pleasure to pixelate the idea behind this beautiful design of Studio PUUR NL from Breda. And here is the result! I hope you enjoy these images. I sure did enjoy making them.
