Non-commerical Project

This is a non-commercial test project for the artists of our studio. In other words, we provide them with the concept of the architectural structure to indulge their imagination, and they implement it in renderings. This time we had an experiment with skyscrapers.

Skyscrapers impressed with their grandeur. As the embodiment of scale, skyscrapers can help a human to feel taller than ever. In addition, they create the impression of openness and submission of vast areas of the neighborhood.

Working with glass facades is always challenging as they ask for a detailed display of the environment in the glass of the building and an internal glow in the evening angles.
In the project there are 2 evening images showing the complex from different perspectives. We experimented with the atmosphere and, since views varied, we are posting both and looking forward to your comments.

Helsinki Gloss White Kitchen Interior

In this timber clad kitchen CGI we’ve gone for that ultra modern look, using open shelving in place of wall units and mid-height oven cabinets. You can’t go wrong with white cabinetry and large slim framed windows to create a bright spacious kitchen space. Our interior designers have warmed the cool whites back up by combining them with natural oak wall cladding and furnishings.

This simple interior has been created using 3DSMax and rendered using Corona renderer. Colour accuracy adjustments and finishing touches were added using Adobe Photoshop and Fusion Studio 16.

The Bridge Project

The Bridge Project – The bridge between living and nonliving.

I am happy I had an opportunity to work on this project. When I saw the building’s location, I immediately fell in love with it.

A primary task was capturing the harsh environment around the project location and showing the atmosphere at its best. First, I had to rebuild the area in 3ds max using photo references, then scatter the minor rocks, snow, and required assets. Secondly, my architect wanted to show the building as part of the environment, as the continuation of a cliff— as you can see, most of the cliffs, rocks, even dying grass are yellowish-orange tones. That’s why we chose to go with rusted metal sheets on the facade of the building. I used Quixel Megascam Library to mix some of the metal textures in the Material editor. Finally, I added the unique mountain image seen from the project location in photoshop.

Why name bridge? There is a reason why I fell in love with this place. The site location’s altitude is 3000 meters. This place is the last camp for tourists to visit, from here only professional alpinists can venture, even grass won’t grow from here upwards—the bridge between living and nonliving.

And as an antisocial person, I forced myself to create social platform pages, so if you like my work, consider following me on any social platform.

Cheers,
Ilia
