Thalwil is a residential building located in Switzerland and designed by the local architectural bureau Sergio Cattaneo Architetti.
In order to show the best aspects of the straight bauhaus architectural style, we needed to correctly compose the frame. The camera is positioned to such a degree that the line of the wooden canopy lies parallel to the line of the facade. In terms of composition, diagonal lines always create instant interest in a shot and grab the viewer’s attention. But in addition to making the image more eye-catching, creating a great perspective, it also emphasizes the geometry of landscape design and the architecture itself.
We also would like to draw your attention to the work on such details as the light-setting, glare on the water and windows and the range of drawing the landscape. Ultimately, these very peculiarities allow a digital image to become photorealistic.

These visualizations were commissioned by Fust, one of Switzerland’s most innovative furniture and interior décor designers. From single pieces to wardrobes, kitchens, saunas and even entire office buildings, their eye-catching customised work transforms rooms into works of art. Fust wanted 3D CGI renders that convey how their artistic cupboards and shelves give each room a unique character. The challenge for us was to capture the subtle differences between the many fabrics and surfaces for extreme photorealism. By using advanced light, shadow, depth and resolution settings, we made every picture come to life.

„In the real estate business, one thing is absolutely certain: It pays to invest in the highest quality.“ – that transcendent philosophy drives Sallinger Consulting GmbH, Leipzig’s preeminent specialist in high-quality building restorations. We see it in practice with their work on this heritage-listed residence that was originally built at the beginning of the 20th century in Anger-Crottendor district.
The intricately-sculpted natural stone cornices, extraordinary polished staircase and magnificent window walls create an exquisitely beautiful world. Our photorealistic renders capture the finesse of these details while faithfully conveying the building’s historic character.
