There are 2 image that i already finished for the trial render. i want to show my workflow how i usually produce an image in archviz from modelling to post production. i am using 3dsmax, corona render, and photoshop.
these image is my reference for the composition that i want to achieve for my final image. Adam Mørk architectural photograhy work is my inspiration for this process.
After the concept stage I have focused on creation of the main materials in the scene. The biggest focus went into the wet ground which is suppose to add more drama to the scene and the rusty panels. My main goal is to keep it natural and realistic.
The main idea of my concept is to show both exterior and interior all together to emphasize the building as school of architecture. The atrium seeing the workshop seems to be a good spot for my purpose and with the initial outlines in my mind as sketched, I decided to land my camera there to grab a start point. I plan to reposition the camera angle in the idea of this perspective after coping with the materials&lighting and developing a deeper sight about the building to reveal out the story in the view and in my mind.
The lighting idea is to have partial sunlight on the facade and to leave some other areas in shadow to create contrast. I am also thinking of enhancing the feeling of the daylight on some parts of the building that mostly I desire glazing. However I will keep this idea developed till the end of material&lighting works.
Good luck to everyone!
I’ve started the post production phase of my image by choosing the right people and their position to best fit the composition. By looking at reference images and videos I’ve found that the street right in front of the main entrance is quite busy, with a lot of people coming and going, this is the idea that I want to give, a normal day with people going about their lives. They’re not the main focus of the image, they’re there to show the urban life around it, rich and dynamic.
