After a pair of weeks finally I can finish my image, here is my best effort to get some decent to show you, I would like to have some day more to refine some details.

The procces afer i decided my story and select the mood was to take get work, so i start texturing the inside, then the outside, always trying to generate nice materials. after that i was able to photoshoot myself, with a friend’s help i direct him to capture my best perspective haha, we have to shoot twice, because i feel that the photo need a better styling direction. after that the entire process was to render some layers, for example, i render light off, then with all lights on, and then i add 3d people, so i can take decitions on my way, finall i opt to kepp all the lights on, after i cutted out my own picture and added to the final composition, as always i keep seeing references to obtain nice palettes and hues in the final image.

It’s winter time, and the storm is
coming….. Architecture since day one
has been source of shelter for humanity.
It doesn’t matter how cold it us, always a
good design contains and protect people
from nature, specially in countries with
hard winter like Sweden.

The image reflects that issue using cold
tones for exterior (blue and white),
and warm tones for interior (red and
orange), achieving an opposite situation,
highlighting the building as a warm and
comfortable space to use and live

From the beginning I had a vision of how the building would look. I wanted to go for a nice sunny day ( I know they are rare in Sweden) looking at the google street views, I saw nice bright sunny days. just had this one picture of the building which really helped me with the reflection on the glass. I tried many cameras for the final shot, but settled with this one. I have always made the main building stand alone, but this time i wanted it to be placed in such an image where it’s character could be compared to another building at close range. A sort of street view. To be honest I haven’t used any reference images for the shot besides the one I’m uploading.

Architecture is Frozen Music
This is one of the famous quote about architecture. This is one of the best quotes that can describe an architecture. As an architect and architectural visualiser i decided to entry for competition. When i saw this building i just felt this quote and my main focus was to make visualisation like this.

1st i just started to work on close shot composition and lighting with global material which windows are excluded. After using different HDRI maps and lot of test renders the clear one gave me a good feeling and i focused on this. Then i start searching for rusted facade textures and i found texture which i used this texture as reference for reflection, bump and roughness via changing it color balance etc. in Adobe Photoshop. Then i focused on environment texturing like ground, nearby buildings and after all that i added some trees and lights for the environment to create image like this.
After render in photoshopped i decided to put one person to represent frozen feeling in time as i mentioned early that Architecture is frozen music.
So this is my story as an architect and architectural visualiser which i am proud to share with you.Its great honor for me to enter to this competition.Good luck for everyone.
