This is my final entry! I had a lot of fun working on this project, and it made me learn so much. I would like to thank Ronen and Tomorrow for this amazing opportunity, and wish the best of luck to all the contestants! May the best artist win!
I thought I had uploaded my inspiration post in December, but I guess it failed to upload. Anyway, here were my inspirations for this competition. I needed direct references for wet streets, so I found some photos that I liked. I also needed inspiration for the angle I was going to choose for the interior. I had already decided on the theme for my other exterior, so I found some reference photos of morning sun. Due to the similar color, the Taj Mahal was especially helpful!
Process/References
Interior View workflow is quite similar to exterior view workflow.
For all 3 images i have decided to go with similar mood and concept to have a link between all 3 renders.
My main idea was to create a very peaceful and calm environment for which I selected an early morning view where first rays of sun hitting the building / Entering the building and indicating a fresh start of a new day and an end of a dark night. The idea was develop from how books and knowledge from it,brings light to our life in similar way a sun brings light to our environment.
Following is the reference and process of my Interior View
at the last moment I just did a little post pro like adding a cloud and doing a little color grading later on adding people on interior scene.
