AXYZ Design Mini Challenge
The concept for this project came from the renowned Kowloon Walled City in the 1990s, which formed the basis of Kowloon streets. Today the density of Kowloon Walled City has become its heritage and a distinct feature of Hong Kong streets. This project will focus on the features and density of Kowloon streets, markets and signage; bringing it to life with the help of Anima.
A little late to the show – but I’m going to try my hardest to get something done by the deadline.
My inspiration for this project came from a recent holiday that I had over in Corfu which involved a little day trip to Corfu Town. I loved the friendly vibe and architecture of this city… with lots of people, walking around enjoying the sun, eating, drinking and shopping.
I will attempt to replicate this for the competition using photos that i took whilst i was there as reference and inspiration. Software that i will use will be.. of course.. Anima, 3ds Max and Vray.
Hopefully i can finish in time with something half decent.

I want to re-create a look as in the images. The crowded long street of Istiklal taking place in the frame with bokeh effects and depth of field and with its significant tram all mixed in to each other, all flowing through the street surrounded by both side shops and buildings.
