The book CABINS by Philip Jodidio and the fantastic illustrations by Marie-Laure Cruschi served as the principal inspiration for this year’s challenge theme. That, and my love for prefab architecture design.

Using the concept of a cabin situated above the waters of a lake, I want to make a simplified illustration of the house from the movie The Lake House. Because of the isolation from the main land, I like that there was a tree in the center of the house which I think brings in some closeness to nature. For the material, the idea is to use wood and glass.
