The 7th Architectural Visualization Challenge I’m running in partnership with Quixel as the marquee sponsor. The book CABINS by Philip Jodidio and the fantastic illustrations by Marie-Laure Cruschi served as the principal inspiration for this year’s challenge theme. That, and my love for prefab architecture design.

A correct scatter at this stage, i think it will make a huge difference in quality and rendering times. I have to get to a good balance between what it will be texture (normal bumps) and a 3d model. Adding general textures help me to picture how it will look and where to add more details in the model.

Which visions do we have in our perception when we think about future societies;
its design, culture and architecture? It is possible to create a tense and vivid image from our
animus and simulate that reflection?
Only when these reflections are visualized in the form of images, videos and animations or VR,
we can feel that the future is present.
In short visualization is a tool to integrate poetical ideas into visible or even tangible reality.
With contemporary visualizing tools its possible to create humming illusions of reality and
walk inside imminent creation.”
