The final render in 5K resolution took about 4 hours.
The workflow for post-production will be :
1. Adding Render Passes with various adjustments/color grading.
2. Adding people with light activities going around.
3. The mood I choose for this image is after rain.Darken the front of the image and will add Zdepth to create depth and maybe mist effect on the glass.
Working on detailing the exterior environment before i can get to do the interior.
So this progress looks at how the interior and some exterior artificial lighting balances out with the natural dusk general light.
There’s still a couple of areas that might need some artificial light so will get going on that.
I have remade the exterior plates of corten steel, tried to give it some dimension, put some props outside, worked on the roof over the side buildings, wich was made with displacement, likewise the bricks on these same buildings.
My main purpose is to achieve a cold, foggy/rainny enviroment.
I’ve modeled some chairs and desk for the interior, some lamps and bollards for the exterior.
I’ve used Substance Desginer for both the corten steel and brick.
After the hollidays are over now , i have started the challenge with an image in my mind, saw these days ( nights if to be onest ) in my contry , visiting my friends .
We had the most beautiful start of 2018 with a very heavy first snow falling from the sky . This was the inspiration for my mood and wheather idea for the challenge.
The story of the rendering I want do, is about the loneliness of the building in the night .
Hello everyone. This is my working progress. Finally i found camera satisfying for me and interesting from composition and light side of things. I dont wont to create some wierd atmosphere so i decided to stick with original (Architectural Univercity mood). Next step is textures, then details and some students for the final touches 😉
