These are the cameras I try, I wanted to show a bit of the sorroundings, without getting to close to the school. I choose this one because I think it makes you feel the free space on the back of the school, and I saw this wall on the edge of the road and feel like taking a break here, besides after this, I search for it on google maps and saw a student sitting here listening to music, so I tagged it as a good spot.

This is my last update showing how far i’ve gone. I’m now gonna concentrate on finishing up. Areas of concern for me are, fixing the green wall at the back, fixing a few materials and adding some street furniture/props plus some more props in the interior.
I’d like to thank the Team at Tomorrow and Ronen Bekerman for putting this competition together, it’s been quite fun and a learning experience for me.
Cheers

As stated in my previous update, I want to be as faithful as possible to the existing building, in its context, Therefore i searched for a lot of references from around the building, to really capture the look of the everyday objects in the street that, in one way or another, play a big part in the whole composition and the cenario in which it’s inserted, creating a familiar feeling and adding realism to the composition.
As i write this update i’m rendering the final image and will start the post production in a few hours, i’ll post another update in the next couple of days.
Thank you

To populate the square and get as close as possible to the concept of story I decided to personally photograph all the various subjects.

I do not have a photo set or a green screen so I improvised by photographing many friends in different locations.

The longest work will be to cut people, paint shadows and lights and integrate it with the final image.
