some times its a little bit hard to decide about design and material because of many factors are in the projects. i have tested the material of facade with random colors (5 colors) for each element randomly, the result was exciting but its not match to site and the other elements of project.it doesn’t have harmony. so i decided to created in one material.
one is simple bronze with noise of overall shape, and the second which i choose is the complex of 4 materials with variation of color. but they are same material.
here we can see the results.

for the design i think i should work on some parametric design on facade.i want to keep the windows and create a pattern for my concept(playing with light and shadow).
so i decided to use rhino for create my pattern, i learned how to use rhino 3 years ago when i had to work on one of projects of zaha hadid architects in my country.
anyway im going to post some of my pattern designs here and after that spread them on the facade, its a little bit tricky and takes time.
maybe i will change it for lighting design.

so after some tests of creating texture with substance and some of new hdrs that i have downloaded recently, today i started the project 😀

i always think about the concept of project and for this project playing with light and shadow is my concept.
the first thing is choose lighting mood, day or dust or even a complete night shot. this lovely design has a great potential for every kind of lighting,i wish i could have enough time for 3 types but i have to choose one.i love soft soft shadow with high contrast.
for me a day shot is the best. because i want to catch a good balance between this curve design(soft part) and day light(hard part)its a part of light and shadow concept actually.
in this post i will attach some mood and reference.

well, i think the most important and difficult part of this project is material of facade. i love to render everything in realistic ways and physical base, so i’m thinking about substance painter for creating material of facade because of power of procedural. so i had to fix few issue of modeling to be suitable for unwrap, and i did it again to be ready for import in substance.
and after import i did really simple test for the material and dirt.as i said this part is the most difficult section of this project so i have to do some test 🙂
