This impression I’ve got from the Tongariro volcanic park in New Zealand. I started my crossing early in the morning while clouds were covering most of the land surface. Seeing almost nothing in 100 m max I was moving through the valleys and climbing huge lava stones looks like a blood pudding pieces. On the top of Red crater incredible wind blew the clouds faster so suddenly it dawns and then I saw the view. I was standing on the blackened edge of the crater which was literally red in the hollow as if it was bleeding once and now thickens. On the other side and after it the charred valley spread to the horizon. The flanks were covered with sends and stones of all possible ground colors golden red-orange and some lemon yellow spots were steaming boiling mud pools. It was a feeling that there was a nature workshop where all kinds of the landscape are created but right now just a naked bare land as it was. There was a beginning. That’s how it looks millions of years ago.

I spend several hours there. I wish to stay longer.
Walking around, watching and gathering all colourful stones and lava pumice, guessing the chemicals, it was easy to imagine whatever you can.
Imagine a monolith piece of golden metal thrown out from the bowels of the earth and stuck on the edge. Clouds or steam rambled through the lava valley. There was an inception.
