In this update I share the unwrapping work and diffuse maps of some of the main materials in my scene. I desired to match as close to present facade to challange my texture painting skills. I always like to add some deformed and weathered parts into the textures to gather more natural look. Then comes to create specular, normals and displacement maps as well but as they take a little time after having the diffuse maps so I didnt prefer to include in this update. More to come.
The main idea of my concept is to show both exterior and interior all together to emphasize the building as school of architecture. The atrium seeing the workshop seems to be a good spot for my purpose and with the initial outlines in my mind as sketched, I decided to land my camera there to grab a start point. I plan to reposition the camera angle in the idea of this perspective after coping with the materials&lighting and developing a deeper sight about the building to reveal out the story in the view and in my mind.
The lighting idea is to have partial sunlight on the facade and to leave some other areas in shadow to create contrast. I am also thinking of enhancing the feeling of the daylight on some parts of the building that mostly I desire glazing. However I will keep this idea developed till the end of material&lighting works.
Good luck to everyone!
Here is my final image.
When I decided about my concept I knew it would turn into creating the street from scratch even though lots of things to be done but I couldn’t keep myself away from doing it 🙂
I tried to reflect my imagination as much as I can due having a tough schedule these days.
Anyhow it was really enjoying to work on it.
Good luck all!
One second before hitting the render
Hi!
I was being so much busy with my regular works till now and I was somehow able to spare 2 full day to do the rest after my concept.
The street is big and lots of things to model to get to realism but I was trying to create a workaround about modeling less but giving the feeling of my concept idea most at the same time.
The time is coming up to filling the space with Anima Lite now!
Even though so little time left for the final I will try to go on without stopping till the end as I planned. I was always excited about creating what I dreamed about from the beginning so I want to bring it to life anyhow.
See you!
