State of Art Academy MasterClass #15 just finished and here I feature the great work of the students. This time the main theme was my cup of ‘concrete’ tea! an interesting staggered cubes house by Spanish architect Daniel Isern called Mediterrani 32, Sant Pol de Mar. It’s great seeing 12 versions of the same house, as each student had the freedom to explore how and where to visualize it.
This is drop dead gorgeous! Dutch artists Lernert and Sander were asked by the Dutch newspaper De Volkskrant to make a photograph for their documentary photography special, with the theme Food. They transformed unprocessed food into perfect cubes of 2,5 x 2,5 x 2,5 cm. 98 gorgeous cubes I’d like to see severed in restaurants near me soon! The perfect 3dish.
Things are heating up in real time! Miss Daisy is a comic short movie recorded in real-time in the Unreal Engine 4. This project was completed in 14 weeks by a group of students at NAD / UQAC for their final semester.
Romuald Chaigneau traveled back in time, to the days he played Final Fantasy 9, by creating THE BRINK. A matte painting turned into animation inspired by the game that he posted on the forums today. The result of this personal improvement project is captivating and it is very interesting to see what went on behind the scenes in the breakdown video provided. Cool Stuff!

It’s great seeing 12 versions of the same house, as each student had the freedom to explore how and where to visualize it.
