Renzo Piano’s 87 Park by The Boundary

The Boundary showcases their latest and remarkable visuals for Renzo Piano’s 87 Park residential building in Miami. I had the pleasure seeing this remarkable piece of work for the first time during SOA Academy Day #6, during which The Boundary shared more information about the creation of the stills and animation this project called for. It is a pleasure for me to spotlight this project here, accompanied by some slides from The Boundary’s SOA Talk. Enjoy!

I’ve rounded up all of the 52 Weekly Best Visualizations for 2015 during the year, Selected the best in each month to form the 12 Best Visualizations of 2015 and now I’m happy to announce that the BEST Visualisation of YEAR 2015 is “Jeju International Airport” by Tomek Miksa, Founder of DOWNTOWN! Infinity by Atelier d’Architecture Bruno Erpicum & Partners

Today’s inspiration comes thanks to Phil Buerer, following his “Infinity” post on the forums where he recreates one of the original photos of the Infinity house by Atelier d’Architecture Bruno Erpicum & Partners. Located at the Baleares Islands, Spain, this simple and white structure serves as great reference for clean and monochromatic design under the Mediterranean light.

ENDÉMICO by GRACIA STUDIO

More wine related inspiration for The Vineyard challengers today. Located in Valle de Guadalupe, Mexico’s Wine Country, Baja California, a set of twenty independent rooms of twenty square meters each are nestled in the landscape as part of the Endémico Resguardo Silvestre project. Operated by Grupo Habita, a Design Hotels member, it includes a winery and a residential area as well. Very much open world style, and inline with the challenge programmatic brief!
