Garden in Comporta by Topiaris + Gonçalo Salazar de Sousa

I stumbled upon these great photos of a garden landscaping project taken by Joao Morgado. The architecture is by Gonçalo Salazar de Sousa and the charming landscaping of the garden is the work of Topiaris, Landscape Architecture. I’d love to live in such a house, and don’t tell me you don’t have a sudden urge to fire up 3dsmax and scatter something. This is a great vegetation reference under the Portuguese sky.

Photographic Approach in Architectural Visualization

Lasse Rode did a remarkable job with his previous articles featured on this blog, and this time is no different. Enjoy it!

Syros House by Myrto Miliou

It’s very hot in here now. Feels like the middle of summer, and I’m working on a design using mostly rough stones, so I’m thinking the Syros House by Myrto Miliou Architects will be a perfect inspirational fit to share with you all. It sure did inspire me today! The photos have very good stone detail in them and a strong feel of hot summer (seems to me they were treated to accentuate that). I find myself drawn towards this type of “earthy” architecture more and more lately. feels cosy.

Making of Scandinavian Summer House

Earlier this month, 3Dstudija studio posted their “Scandinavian Summer House” visuals on the forums and these immediately captured my attention. I’m not that familiar with the Scandinavian “Look & Feel”, but it sure reminded me of my Mediterranean local with a “Drop Dead Gorgeous” 3d Groundwork – Some of the best I’ve seen to date! I had a chat with the Maciulis Brothers, Matas & Antanas about this project and this article was born. Enjoy it.
