You’ve seen this work by Pavel Huerta as part of AXYZ Design’s new ANIMA release, and today I’m very happy to share the first part of a making-of Pavel wrote, diving into the process of making the “Art Gallery Animation”. He did it with Corona Renderer, V-Ray and Unreal Engine which makes it a unique case study!

And so, right after 2017 12 monthly best have been picked, I’m happy to announce the Best Visualization of the Year 2017. I present you with the “LM Guest House” Remake by Nmachine! It is never easy to pick the best out of twelve that are already at the top of their game, but Nmachine checked all the boxes with this one, showcasing the house in various lighting conditions.

Karim Mousa’s Egyptian ethnicity led to many “descendant of the Pharoah” jokes in the five years he lived in Bergen, Norway working for the highly regarded visualization studio Mir. If only his colleagues had known his true claim to fame was as a former international Taekwondo champion.
