SketchUP & modo 401 Speed Modeling
I found this interesting capture of a modeling session using SketchUP & modo 401 by a luxology modo forum member named Andeciuala. It is rather fast and yet you do pick up things from it. I’m very much interested in modo and the possible usage along side SketchUP or as a standalone and complete solution.
Making of Uro House
I’m happy to bring you a short new tutorial by Luis Linares from Kuan Studio. In this article he will describe the creation of the Uro House image posted not long ago in the Finished Work section of the forums. It was very interesting for me to know more about the post process done on this image since there is a big difference between the pure render output and final result. Kuan team was very kind to share this process with us and I hope you’ll enjoy this article, learn from it and share your thoughts by commenting at the bottom of this article’s page.
CasaX5 / MZC Architettura
Great looking “White Supremacy” type interior designed by MZC Architettura and photographed by Marco Zanta. Very simple and minimalistic treatment with dominant white contrasted by blacks here and there.
RADIANCE by PROJECTiONE
An amazing looking finish for what once was an ordinary fireplace! The element, named Radiance, was inspired by various shelf mushrooms, based on their form, organizational structure, and component geometry. enhanced by lighting and motion sensors the final effect is amazing. This type of project fits into my recent interest in parametric design using tools such as Rhino along with Grasshopper very well… expect more information related to that.
Making of The Mosque at Cordoba by Luis Tejeda
Luis Tejeda (3dluis) has made a tutorial about his Cordoba Mosque scene from the Evermotion interior render competition. This is one of the most detailed scenes I’ve seen for some time now… both in modeling and texturing. The result, much like the subject, is very spiritual and inspiring. check it out!
Making of Kumu, Art Museum of Estonia by Viktor Fretyan
