AXYZ Design Launches Anima 2.5
ANIMA 2 came on the market in June 2016 and after several updates, it has been consolidated as the best solution for quickly and easily creating stunning 3D animations in very little time. ANIMA 2.5 becomes a software for daily usage to populate scenes mainly due to the introduction of Metropoly Ready-Posed model support for still imagery.
Anima 2.5 has been designed for rapid simulation of large crowds while retaining the versatility and artistic freedom that users need. Nearly every aspect of an animation can be controlled, and for the first time, it is now possible to import and use custom characters and motions.
At the heart of Anima 2 is a brand-new simulation engine that dramatically improves animations, brings a host of new features, and paves the way for rapid development of future releases.
Anima 2.5 highlights include:
- Support for Metropoly Ready-Posed characters
- Integration online asset shop
- Exporting features for (OpenCOLLADA, V-Ray/Alembic)
- Improved Custom actor and Motion Clip importer
- Extended color variation support & mask
New additions to Anima 2.5
Moreover, there are new additions to the software as the newly revamped visuals (lighting and 3d viewport shader improvements) and a new material and texture system that allows selecting render quality in the export options and plugins in order to optimize rendering times. Actor assets will now store different quality levels of the texture maps and the Actor editor displays a reference decal on the left view useful for determining the orientation and size of the character. It is also important to highlight that the auto-center support and free movement for background models has been vastly improved. Background models can be freely moved inside anima and the applied transformation will be reversed when exporting scenes or using anima Plugin. This is very useful for working with background models that are not centered
