Modern Apartment - Realtime VR

Modeled in blender and developed in Unity HDRP. Project content is a Realtime Walkthrough video, a VR recording of the project and some still images generated from the project.
The process of working on this project was really interesting and fun.
First I created entire model in Blender and I have made some reference renders for the right lighting I wanted to achieve in Unity. I used a shadowmasking technique in Unity HDRP to get nice soft light within the apartment and I needed to learn a little about lightmapping and proper polygon management to make this project run smoothly. Finally I added a VR functionality using an Oculus Quest 2 and some little C# coding.

Project of a house on one of the Aland Islands in Finland called Stegskärsklubben.
A personal project with an intent to work on environment skills. I choosed this exact location because of the available data on google maps on how the area actually looks like. The animation shot is based heavily on a drone shot image visible at the google maps location and the rest of the images are an approximation of how the project could look like in this place. The biggest challenge in this project was to develop a proper water shader – its still not perfect but I think it is good enough.
Project was developed in Blender and the postprocessing was made in Photoshop. Thanks!

It’s a personal project, created with the intention of developing a scene with high potential for realism, with a subject that everyone likes; a forest home. Inspired by numerous hikes I take regularly I tried to blend the architecture with a naturalistic scenery.
I used quite a lot of photoscanned stones and rock, which added a lot of quality to the scene, as well as textures and furniture models. Nature was added by using Scatter and Vegetation addon which allowed me to populate the scene with large amount of high quality assets and still retain fluidity of the viewport. This project was rendered with E-cycles addon for Blender which speeds up rendering timer. GPU is RTX 2080ti and each picture took about one hour to render. Thanks!
