Roman balconies, Italian luxury.
The Tonino Lamborghini Sofa. Exquisite in every way and dripping luxury. Modeling this was a challenge I had taken up by my employer.

Rajasthan Fort Spa. The abandoned fort/palace was to be renovated and converted into a 5-star spa+lounge. The render was attempted to show the mood of a relaxing day at the spa while taking in the heritage of Indian history and art, on a wet dusky and foggy day.

This was a very old personal project of mine. Flipping through a magazine I came upon this beautiful commercial. I liked it very much and took it up as a personal project.

July 1, 2018 / in 3dsmax, Photoshop, V-Ray / by Mustafa HusainyThe project was inspired when I was asked to model this beautiful bench for a client. After a while I wanted to add this to my personal collections, This resulted in a search fro an environment to showcase the bench and it’s beauty. But that was not all that I was aiming for, I wanted to make it a piece of art and I wanted the render to tell a story, a story lost love, a feeling of something beautiful that once was but now has withered away. I have always felt Gothic and Victorian themes to be portraying these messages, so I mixed some of it to create this room depicted to be in a castle or high tower.
The render before you is the final achievement. All modeling done in 3Dsmax, render-er V-Ray and post in Photoshop.

July 1, 2018 / in 3dsmax, Photoshop, V-Ray / by Mustafa HusainyThis sofa was pleasure to work on. A client was bringing the sofa for a class project and wanted it shown in the render , unfortunately the team was not able to model it to a high quality due to the time constraint and the complexity. I was away on a contract and when I came back I was met with the challenge of modeling this. It was a pleasure to make it and it required a good 2 days to make ; needless to say there was no compromise on quality and the model was above par. After leaving my job in Mumbai i decided to add it to my personal projects and rendered it to show off its luxury in a roman balcony.

July 1, 2018 / in 3dsmax, AutoCAD, Photoshop, V-Ray / by Mustafa HusainyThe structure’s original architecture was kept as is mostly everywhere, it was only refurbished. The grand ‘Chhatris’ of roofs were kept and made into personal massage therapy rooms.
It was a challenge to this as the project was only a pitch and they didn’t have any original drawings of the structure. Most of the model was built by eye balling pictures and estimating judgements. The archways ref. images were provided by the client and then later covered in jali.
It was quite a big premises and the work was broken up according to areas, i got this exterior sauna and Jacuzzi area showing the courtyard filled with special outdoor massage tents.
The only con about this project was that it was get through and the whole thing went down. Would’ve been a nice place to Chill and relax.

July 1, 2018 / in 3dsmax, Photoshop, V-Ray / by Mustafa HusainyThis render was done in my free time in Mumbai when recession hit the markets. Work was slim and I was going through some magazines with my boss for inspiration, we both agreed the building was beautiful and I decided it would do pretty well as a personal project. As I was still a beginner (still am, and will be forever) in this field this would be a great challenge.
The lighting and the metallic texture was a challenge, but it came through nicely. As I was aiming to create the image as close to the original in sense of lighting and warmth and feel, It was a learning experience. I ended up changing some of the effects to give a surreal feel.
Note : I still don’t know who is the designer/architect for the original Project.
