Personal work. Made with Blender and cycles.
Modeled and textured everything in Blender.
Created lots of masks with the texture painting mode.
I created a thread on my twitter with the progress. 36 hours of work.

“Architecture speaks when it’s part of the life and death of their guests.
Even when the absence takes place, houses have a lot to say.”

I tried to render this scene using Cycles, but it took a lot for each frame. I tried a render farm but it was so expensive, so I thought I may use the new blender real-time renderer.
This was the result.

100% Blender and Eevee

30 seconds per frame on average

Let me know what do you think.

Two years ago I created a render called Simon’s house (https://www.artstation.com/artwork/lK4oz) where I wanted to show a country house based on a nice concept I found.
Now, a project to create a suburban neighbourhood showed up and I decided to go deep on one of the houses to create a nice suburban scene.
I used this house also to create a 3D artist article that will be included in the next issue of the magazine and I’m sure I will use it to create future tutorials in my YT channel.
I tried to create a worn house, for references I went outside during weeks to find into which things I would be able to lean and which were the cornerstones of a realistic worn look. I’m really happy with the result. Let me know what do you think!
Besides, I included day and night lighting.
Thanks for your time!
I did everything with Blender and rendered with Cycles.

Personal project in my spare time to test light, mood, and texture.
Blender and Cycles.

You can see that my post processing in Blender is not a big thing: A bit of glare, chromatic aberration and power grading to achieve better contrast and some mood.

I have a GTX1080 and at this resolution, it took 2 hours per frame approx.
In order to optimize, I do a lot of small things that in the end helped me to render within CUDA and not stepping into CPU world.
e.g. I weight painted the portion on the fabric which would have some contrast with the asset in the back or with the background, and with that, I can spare thousands of particles.
I’m in a path following the greatest ones, Bertrand Benoit is one of my heroes, hope someday become as good as they.

Please, let me know what do you think.
Textures from Poliigon.com and some assets too

Hi guys!

This is a small project I’ve been doing in my spare time.
I tried the grass to be flawless because I made it with Graswald, a great addon created by Julius Harling that is in Beta State, so I wanted to show its potential.

I made this piece with Blender and rendered with Cycles.
Postproduction in Blender with the Compositor.
Each render took, approx 40 minutes with a 1080.

Feel free to comment and share.

Hi guys!

This is a personal work inspired on the work by Julian Sadokha.
Made with Blender and rendered in Cycles.
I used textures from Poliigon.com.

I used a simple and plain white background as a main light and two sun lamps to recreate that awesome reflection in the floor.

Eventhough blender was always underated, I think that nowadays, it can be compared with the best softwares outthere.

I used Filmic Blender which has become an indispensable if you want to re-create photorealism.

Share with me any thought you have about it!

Thanks for reading!

I remember when I found this artist and his artwork last year. It blew my mind. This piece was my break-through into Simon Stalenhag’s universe.
I wanted to convert this piece into 3D immediately.

I wanted to convert a piece from Simon Stalenhag into 3D. This is my humble tribute to this great artist.
I added the fog in the compositor node of Blender helped by two images I created in Gimp.
I used two fantastic add-ons, The Cycles Material Vault, and the Grass Essentials.
