This is the second villa I did in this month and this time I tried to do it with v-ray instead of corona renderer.

Usually when I do these type of project i find sketches of other artist who makes conceptual houses and go with that because that basically saves time and I love to see those great concept comes to life through my visuals and there’s nothing enjoyable than that.

After that I find reference for mood that i wanna bring in to that project and put all of these into PurRef which is basically amazing tool for sort out reference and making mood board.

This time i used concept from Ehab Alhariri AKA archihab btw his Instagram page “this” with full of sketches is mind blowing.

TOOL USED : 3DS MAX, V-RAY & PHOTOSHOP FOR SOME COLOR CORRECTION.

WANTED TO CREATE THESE KIND OF VISUALS FROM A LONG TIME, THIS TIME I FINALLY DID IT.
I CREATED 4 TYPES OF VISUAL : DAYLIGHT, SUNSET, OVERCAST AND NIGHT.
THE HOUSE INSPIRATION WAS FROM A SKETCH BY THIS AWESOME SKETCH GUY ( @FER__NEYRA ) ON INSTAGRAM.

CREATED THESE RESTAURANT INTERIOR VISUALS WITH PURPLE, RED AND YELLOW WALL COLOR VARIATIONS.

THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I HAVE USED CORONA RENDERER IN MY WORKFLOW.

WANTED TO TEST OUT HOW THINGS TURNS OUT AND IT TURNED OUT GREAT CORONA RENDERER HAS SUCH SMOOTH TOUCH WHEN IT COMES TO SHADOW/LIGHT AND CONTRAST.

I ALSO USED PHOTOSHOP FOR VIGNETTING AND CONTRAST IN COLORS.

3DS MAX | V-RAY
I DID ALL THE WORK IN 3DS MAX, V-RAY AND NO COLOR CORRECTION WHATSOEVER AFTERWARDS. THIS IS STRAIGHT OUT OF V-RAY FRAME BUFFER

IN THIS PROJECT I WANTED TO TEST OUT SOME OF THE CONCRETE MATERIALS THAT COMES INBUILT WITH VRAY 5 IN 3DS MAX.

IF YOU LOOK AT THE RESULTS, YOU’LL SEE THAT IT DID A PRETTY GOOD JOB.
ON WALLS AND FLOOR I DIDN’T EVEN USE UV MAPPING. I JUST USED THE MATERIALS WITH OPTION ENABLED : “REAL WORLD SCALE” FROM ON TOP OF THE MATERIAL BROWSER.

LITTLE ADVICE THOUGH WHEN YOU USE THE REAL WORLD SCALE OPTION MAKE SURE TO ATTACH ALL THE ELEMENTS TOGETHER LIKE UPPER PART OF THE DOOR AND BOTTOM AND UPPER PART OF WINDOW AND THEN APPLY THE MATERIAL OTHERWISE YOU WON’T EVEN UNDERSTAND WHAT IS HAPPENING WITH SOME PART AND YOUR UV IS GONNA BE MESSED UP.

THAT’S IT & KEEP CREATING BUT FIRST CHECK OUT THIS BEAUTY.

GET IT HUH..Well this bathroom has lot of rocks inside so..haha..
And i don’t know why i keep making bathrooms guys..

So this time i wanted to use V-ray light mix feature again i mean it’s crazy man, you can create multiple variation from just one render. it really is amazing btw i created 4 variations of bathroom…enjoy.

I wanted to create some studio style shots of furniture.

I had this idea of curtain that goes behind and below.

Made curtain in marvelous designer and did all the work in 3ds max and v-ray.
for materials, used all the basic material that comes with v-ray 5
