A new and exciting challenge is about to begin! Tomorrow is looking for their next star, and so we launch the 3rd edition next week along with an interview with Nazarii, the winner of the 2017 challenge you can already read on the job board’s blog.
With a new edition of the Tomorrow Challenge coming up very soon! I’m looking back at this great article… following Mohit Sanchaniya entry to the first Tomorrow 2017 Challenge, which awarded him the Runner-up position and a job at the Tomorrow Studio, he shares the process of making his winning entry. Mohit showcases high levels of realism in this recreation of Tham & Videgård Arkitekter’s Kalmar Art Museum using 3ds Max, Corona Renderer, GrowFX, and Forest Pack. Enjoy!
With winter hitting hard this week and X-Mas time coming up soon, let’s look back at some of the “snowy” making-of articles on the blog! I found the Nordic House visuals by Héctor Javier Diez Valladares during my routine browse on Behance. My eye landed on it rather quickly and I could understand perfectly why it won first place in the First Latin-American CG Contest it was intended for. With snow being a rare treat for me I’m always drawn to such images, and this one had a great feel to it and so I wanted to know more and this article came to be. Enjoy!
Celebrating winter time, here’s a look back to a great making of article by Angel Kostov, from the Bulgarian studio 1equals2, shared their CG recreation of the Clear Lake Cottage by MJMA on the Blog’s Facebook Group and today I’m very happy to share the making of the beautiful snowy image that was part of the set they initially shared.
